Questions
Do I need an account?+
No. CleanX never asks you to sign up. Your plan is tied to the browser you install it on.
Do I need a card for the trial?+
No. The 7-day Pro trial starts automatically when you install. You only enter a card if you decide to buy Pro.
What happens when the trial ends?+
CleanX switches to Free: images, videos and GIFs are blurred and ads are hidden. Nothing is charged.
Do I need to enter a license key after buying?+
No. Pro unlocks automatically in the browser you buy from. The license key in your receipt email is only for using Pro on another browser, or after reinstalling CleanX.
How do I use Pro on another browser?+
Open CleanX → Settings → Plan → Restore with license key, and paste the key from your receipt email. One license works on 3 browsers at a time; adding a fourth turns Pro off on the one you used least recently.
What data does CleanX collect?+
Only an anonymous install ID, used to check your plan. It never reads, stores or sends what you see on X.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. The yearly plan can be cancelled any time from CleanX settings → Manage subscription.
